Seasonal Décor Team Member Seasonal Position | Monday-Friday | $19.50/hour Approximately 35-40 hours/week Position Overview Anakeesta is seeking a dependable, creative, and hands-on Seasonal Décor Team Member to assist with the creation, installation, maintenance, and removal (strike) of seasonal décor throughout the park. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, being creative, and seeing a space transform through themed and seasonal décor. Team members will work alongside Anakeesta's Event Producer to help bring seasonal environments to life throughout the property. Responsibilities Assist with the creation, preparation, installation, and strike of seasonal décor throughout Anakeesta. Hang and secure garlands, wreaths, banners, signage, and other decorative elements. Assist with the installation and removal of sculptural and three-dimensional décor elements. Help assemble, decorate, modify, and prepare décor pieces prior to installation. Assist with crafting, painting, finishing, and other hands-on creative projects as needed. Safely transport décor, materials, tools, and installation supplies to various locations throughout the park. Assist with staging and organizing décor before and after installation. Inspect installed décor and help make adjustments, repairs, or replacements when needed. Properly organize, label, pack, and store décor following seasonal strike. Use basic hand tools and installation equipment safely and appropriately. Work collaboratively with the décor team to complete installations efficiently and on schedule. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas during fabrication, installation, and strike. Follow all Anakeesta safety procedures while working throughout the property. Perform other décor and installation-related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Interest in crafts, crafting, decorating, or other creative hands-on work is a plus. Previous experience with décor installation, event setup, visual merchandising, theater/production, construction, fabrication, or similar work is helpful but not required. Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work throughout the workday. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and an eye for presentation. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent seasonal work schedule. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely use basic hand tools; experience with power tools is a plus. Comfortable working from ladders or at elevated heights when required. Ability to lift, carry, position, and install décor and materials as required by the position. Schedule
