  • 2nd shift (4/10) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring equipment.
Review inspection results and verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming conditions and quality concerns. Conduct approved reprocessing activities on abnormal or nonconforming parts to restore them to a defined zero-state condition. Ensure reprocessed parts meet all quality and procedural requirements before returning them to the production line. Maintain accurate records of inspections, rework activities, measurements, and disposition decisions. Follow all quality management system requirements, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues when required. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve part discrepancies and maintain product flow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and process reliability. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. Experience operating CMM equipment and interpreting inspection data. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow detailed procedures with minimal deviation. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills and experience maintaining quality records. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or precision machining environment. Familiarity with quality management systems and nonconformance processes. Experience handling critical or controlled products where quality requirements are highly regulated.
