In this role, you will work in a team setting which requires superior communication skills, friendly and positive energy, and the ability to multitask. You will assist customers with finding the items they're searching for, ringing up purchases, maintaining the retail floor, and more. GSV is a retail hospitality concept and every team member is required to deliver a gold standard of customer service and be an ambassador for our unique brand experience.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet all customers to Garage Sale in a warm and friendly manner; maintain a welcoming, tolerant, and inclusive environment Introduce customers to the retail side of Garage Sale; explain to customers what makes us unique Drive sales by showing enthusiasm for products and concept; show interest and knowledge in vintage clothing Assist and interact with customers as needed; be present on sales floor Assist in overall cleanliness of store, including restrooms and outdoor space Maintain vendor booths and communal space: Check clothing racks for misplaced items

• return items to appropriate racks Place fallen items back on hangers Make sure clothing is hanging correctly on hangers Removing items with no tags Restock folded items Records adjusted so they are falling back in displays Add new items to the wall displays if something sells Clean up and dust jewelry and accessory tables and shelves
• tidy up and organize
• make visually appealing Communicate and work as a team with managers, other retail associates, and the bar team.

Others duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years experience in a high volume, professional retail environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of vintage clothing; ability to educate our customers about what they're buying and supporting. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Personality and flexibility to work in a fast paced and creative work environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be available to work nights, holidays and weekends. Must be eligible to work within the United States.
