Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on products related to gardening, floral design, lawn care, and landscape maintenance Identify plants and horticultural items to help customers make informed decisions Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with seasonal plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor equipment Assist with inventory management, stocking new merchandise, and organizing stockroom areas efficiently Offer exceptional customer service through clear communication via phone or in person, addressing inquiries about e-commerce options or product availability Support outdoor work activities such as plant care, landscape maintenance tasks, and lawn care projects as needed Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales, especially within garden centers or outdoor retail environments is preferred Knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, floral design, and landscaping practices Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures Demonstrated organizational skills for merchandising and stock management Outdoor work experience with a focus on gardening or landscape maintenance is highly desirable Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer service skills Passion for gardening, horticulture, lawn care, and outdoor activities that inspire customer engagement Join us to bring your love of outdoor work into a lively retail environment where every day offers new opportunities to grow professionally while helping customers create beautiful outdoor spaces!
