Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Clerk/Bud Tender, where you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, engaging environment. Your role will involve providing expert product knowledge, assisting customers with their selections, and ensuring the store maintains an organized and inviting atmosphere. As a key team member, you'll promote responsible sales practices while fostering a welcoming space for all customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend retail expertise with specialized product knowledge. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on various cannabis products and accessories Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments. Training will be included. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Promote upselling by recommending complementary products to maximize customer satisfaction and sales Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialized retail environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills Strong communication skills with an emphasis on excellent phone etiquette and customer service Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about product features and benefits Familiarity with merchandising, stocking procedures, and store organization standards Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities Basic math skills for managing cash registers and inventory counts Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about the industry is highly desirable Join us in creating a lively, customer-focused environment where your enthusiasm and expertise make a real difference!
