Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate Kautsch True Value - 3.5 Alamo, TX Job Details Part-time $8 - $10 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Spanish English Cleaning Retail math Full Job Description Job Summary Kautsch Home & Hardware in Alamo, TX is looking for a dependable and friendly Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our team. We are a locally owned hardware store looking for someone who wants steady, long-term work. Reliability, punctuality, accuracy, and good customer service are very important in this position. Hardware experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash and card transactions Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Answer store phone calls and help direct customer questions Help customers locate products throughout the store Keep the checkout and front-counter area clean and organized Assist with light stocking, pricing, and general store duties when needed Learn basic product locations and store services Work cooperatively with other team members Qualifications Dependable attendance and punctuality Friendly, respectful, and comfortable working with customers Able to accurately handle cash and basic math Comfortable answering phones Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal retail duties Saturday availability is required Previous cashier, retail, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required Hardware knowledge is a plus but not required Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Schedule Approximately 25-40 hours per week Store hours are Monday-Saturday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Closed Sundays Pay $8.00-$10.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications We are looking for someone who wants to become a dependable part of our team and stay with us long-term.
