Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs and preferences Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain accurate inventory levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting regular stock checks Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products and store policies while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Assist with merchandising efforts to create an inviting store environment that highlights featured products and promotions Qualifications Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar retail environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to conduct product demos confidently Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for customer service meets the exciting world of cannabis retail.
