Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Front Desk and Sales Associate to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while driving sales through product knowledge and engaging interactions. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly upon arrival, establishing a friendly and professional atmosphere. Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cash drawer management with precision. Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain store appearance through stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring products are well-organized and accessible. Answer phone calls professionally using proper phone etiquette; address customer questions or direct calls as needed. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock replenishment. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and store policies at all times. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash register operations, and retail math is highly desirable. Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers confidently. Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising will help drive sales success. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, stock management, and retail math will support your effectiveness in this role.
