South Texas Tack, LLC is seeking to hire a Counter Sales Associate to join our team at the store in Brenham, Texas. Job Requirements, Responsibilities, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

full time

• work hours from 9am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday (one day off) Closed Sundays must take lunch at store strong communication skills being a team leader work independently stand on feet all day employee handbook that requires signature before employment HORSE and TACK knowledge

Responsibilities:

assist customers with merchandise questions check customers out cover counter at all times cleaning work area straightening merchandise informing customers of promotions informing customers of policy occasional merchandising if directed by manager responsible for assigned drawer Job responsibilities will be discussed in detail in person interview.

Skills:

excellent customer skills excellent computer skills excellent marketing skills following direction self motivated excepting change and direction experience and knowledge with horses and equipment

Knowledge:

Educated on product sold in store and online Needs to have prior horse and tack knowledge User friendly with most product Comprehending digital point of sale program must have horse knowledge
