Matcha & Co. is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic First Friday Market Team Member to join us for First Friday events in downtown Bryan, TX! Our First Friday shifts are lively, fast paced evening events where we serve handcrafted matcha drinks and specialty teas to the local community. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can keep up during a rush, and wants to be part of a small, growing local business. What You'll Do Prepare and serve matcha drinks and specialty teas according to our recipes Take customer orders and process payments Provide friendly and welcoming customer service Help customers choose drinks and answer questions about our menu Set up the booth and equipment before the event Keep the service area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the evening Restock ingredients, cups, and other supplies as needed Help break down and pack up the booth at the end of the event Work efficiently and accurately during busy periods Represent Matcha & Co. in a friendly and professional manner Schedule First Friday events: approximately 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM First Friday typically takes place on the first Friday of each month , although the exact schedule may vary based on the event calendar. This position is generally one evening per month , making it a great fit for someone looking for a flexible part time job or additional weekend income. Because these are scheduled events, reliability and punctuality are extremely important. What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a busy outdoor event environment Able to stay on your feet for several hours Able to work efficiently during periods of high customer volume Comfortable handling money and using a POS system Able to work independently and as part of a small team Able to lift up to approximately 30 lbs Food service, barista, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Food handler certification is a plus Must have reliable transportation to and from downtown Bryan Compensation $15/hour + tips Training is provided. We are looking for someone who can become a dependable member of our regular First Friday crew.
