Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity Assist customers with product demos, upselling items, and answering questions about store merchandise Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is well-merchandised to attract shoppers' attention Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Support inventory management by stocking products and conducting stock checks regularly Promote store promotions and sales initiatives to maximize sales opportunities through effective upselling techniques Skills Previous experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions preferred Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and grocery store operations enhances performance Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with phone etiquette, upselling strategies, and product demos to enhance customer engagement Experience in stocking, cashiering, retail sales, and grocery store environments is advantageous Join us in creating a lively shopping atmosphere where every customer leaves satisfied!
