Music & Arts seeks a Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and outstanding customer experiences in our retail store. You'll support students, parents, and educators by recommending band and orchestral instruments, rentals, repairs, and lessons. Responsibilities include client service, product demos, maintaining displays, processing transactions, and meeting sales goals. You'll partner with school service reps, promote lessons and events, and model our student-focused, collaborative culture while helping new team members. Weekend and evening shifts required. Responsibilities Deliver knowledgeable, friendly customer service to students, parents, and educators Recommend instruments, rentals, repairs, accessories, and lesson programs to meet needs Achieve individual and store sales goals, including add-on and lesson sales Perform basic product demos and explain features, benefits, and pricing options Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately using point-of-sale systems Maintain clean, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor and displays Support in-store events and school outreach efforts to grow local engagement Collaborate with store team and school service reps to meet performance targets Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory tasks Help orient and support new associates in customer service and sales best practices Required Skills Customer service Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Product knowledge - musical instruments Merchandising Cash handling Upselling and cross-selling Inventory support Basic music theory familiarity Communication skills
