Job Description
If you have experience in sales, roofing, solar, pest control, construction and trades, automotive, wireless, fitness, sports, retail, or another competitive and goal-driven environment , your background can translate well into this opportunity. We also see people do extremely well coming from restaurants and hospitality — servers, bartenders, waiters, food runners, hosts/hostesses, restaurant staff, front desk, and customer service. Whether you're used to working toward goals, competing as part of a team, or talking with customers all day, those skills can transfer well into wireless sales. We're hiring a Verizon Wireless Associate to work directly with customers, understand their needs, and help them explore wireless products, services, promotions, and available options. Spanish is required. Perfect fluency isn't necessary, but you should be comfortable having everyday conversations with Spanish-speaking customers. What You'll Do Speak directly with customers about Verizon wireless products and services Learn current plans, devices, promotions, and service options Ask questions to understand each customer's needs Recommend appropriate products and service options Build positive relationships with customers Provide a professional and helpful customer experience Work toward individual and team performance goals Develop stronger communication, sales, and customer service skills What We're Looking For Comfortable speaking with new people Competitive and goal-oriented Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Coachable and willing to learn Dependable and professional Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Works well individually and as part of a team Spanish-speaking ability required Previous wireless experience is not required. We provide hands-on training on products, customer interactions, and the sales process.
