Irving, TX 75062 $13.00 per hour | Part-Time | Paid Training That 1 Place! is a family-owned food truck based in Irving, Texas. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking crew member to assist with food service, customer orders, and the everyday operation of our truck. This is a hands-on position that includes customer service, cashiering, food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and event support. Because we are a small team, each crew member needs to be comfortable helping wherever needed. What You'll Do Take customer orders and process payments Assist with food preparation and made-to-order menu items Assemble, package, and serve customer orders Provide friendly and professional customer service Keep the food truck clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift Wash dishes, utensils, and food-preparation equipment Restock food, drinks, condiments, packaging, and supplies Complete opening and closing duties Help load and unload supplies for scheduled events when needed Follow food-handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Assist with other food truck duties as assigned Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position primarily scheduled Wednesday through Saturday . Applicants must have open availability Wednesday through Saturday and be available to work scheduled shifts as needed. Our hours are not the same every week. Shift times and locations may change based on regular food truck service, catering jobs, festivals, private events, school/community events, and other business needs. Shifts may include daytime, evening, and occasional extended event hours . This position may provide up to approximately 32 hours per week , depending on the business and event schedule. A specific number of hours is not guaranteed each week. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must have open availability Wednesday through Saturday Dependable, punctual, and able to report for scheduled shifts Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Able to follow instructions and learn new tasks Willing to assist with food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and customer service Able to work independently when necessary Comfortable working in the close quarters and varying temperatures of a food truck Able to stand for extended periods Able to safely lift and carry supplies as needed Reliable transportation to assigned work locations Maintain appropriate cleanliness and personal hygiene when working with food Willing and able to work at scheduled locations throughout the DFW area Certification & Screening A Texas Food Handler Certification is required. Applicants who do not currently have one must be willing to obtain it as required for the position. Employment may be contingent upon successfully completing a background check. Experience Food service, restaurant, cashier, retail, or customer service experience is helpful, but previous food truck experience is not required . We provide paid training and are willing to train someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work. Work Locations Our primary service location is at Irving Mall near the AMC entrance in Irving, TX , but this is not a fixed-location position . That 1 Place! also serves catering jobs, festivals, schools, businesses, private events, and community events throughout the DFW area. Employees must be able to report to the assigned work location for each scheduled shift.
