We are seeking a dependable Automotive Shop Hand / Porter to join a clean, organized automotive performance shop. This position is ideal for someone with previous automotive shop experience who is comfortable handling general shop support duties and is looking for a stable, long-term position . The right candidate should be mature, reliable, hands-on, and comfortable helping wherever needed. This is a support role and is not intended as a technician training or advancement position .

RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep the shop, work areas, and outside areas clean and organized. Sweep, take out trash , clean restrooms, and handle light cleanup duties. Assist technicians with basic shop tasks and moving vehicles or equipment. Pick up automotive parts and supplies from local vendors. Make occasional local parts deliveries. Help receive, organize, and put away parts and shop supplies. Maintain an organized parking lot and shop area. Assist with other basic automotive shop duties as needed. Follow shop safety and organization standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Previous experience working in an automotive shop, transmission shop, dealership, or parts environment preferred. Basic familiarity with automotive parts, tools, and shop operations. Dependable and consistent with good attendance. Comfortable performing both automotive support and cleaning duties. Able to work independently and take direction when needed. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable in a long-term shop support role . .

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
