Primary Purpose:
Provide dedicated evening reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the Student Wellness Center, ensuring a welcoming, secure, and organized environment for students, staff, and visitors during operating hours.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Proficient keyboarding skills
Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow written instructions
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
One year of experience in an office setting
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Greet, sign in, and direct students, staff, and visitors arriving for evening Wellness Center services.
Maintain the visitor log and issue/check-out visitor passes using the Raptor System.
Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route them to appropriate Wellness Center staff.
Assist public, staff, and students with evening inquiries and access.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student participation and wellness records.
Maintain computerized files, rosters, attendance logs, and reports using a district issued computer.
Provide general clerical assistance, including message distribution, and light document preparation.
Manage evening check-in/check-out procedures for center materials or resources.
Work productively with frequent interruptions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Perform evening opening (4:45 PM setup) and closing (8:15 PM wrap-up) front desk duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment Used:
District issued computer, printer, copier, and multi-line phone system.
Working Conditions:
Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions during peak evening intake hours.
