Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face of our outdoor and garden center! In this energetic role, you will engage with customers, assist with product selection, and provide expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and plant knowledge will help customers create beautiful, thriving outdoor spaces. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your communication skills and sales expertise will shine, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied and inspired. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting outdoor products, plants, gardening tools, and landscape supplies Provide expert advice on lawn care, plant identification, floral design, and landscape maintenance to help customers achieve their outdoor goals Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves efficiently to enhance product visibility Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and replenishment of outdoor and garden products Answer customer inquiries via phone communication promptly and professionally Assist with floral arrangements or gardening demonstrations when needed to enhance customer experience Experience Previous outdoor work experience or horticulture knowledge is highly preferred Strong retail sales background with excellent customer service skills Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is advantageous Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of plant identification, floral design, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance enhances your ability to assist customers confidently Demonstrated organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a tidy sales floor Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial Join us to inspire outdoor creativity while developing your sales expertise in a lively retail environment!
