Starting at $10.60 / hour Position Overview The Sales Associate delivers customer service and drives product sales by serving as an ambassador for the Hibbett brand. Positioned across multiple product areas, the Sales Associate upholds store visual standards, executes sales promotions, and delivers a shopping experience aimed at customer acquisition and retention.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales:
Provide extraordinary customer service following company guidelines; greet arriving customers, assist multiple shoppers during peak hours, and promote store merchandise and services.
Goal Tracking & Development:
Set personal goals to improve selling skills, consistently track overall sales performance, and achieve or exceed store sales targets.
Store Operations & Maintenance:
Assist with daily operational tasks, work lists, cleaning schedules, processing weekly shipments, and store upkeep.
Visual Standards & Merchandising:
Uphold policies and standards listed in the visual manual and product knowledge guide to present merchandise effectively.
Communication & Asset Protection:
Communicate inventory needs, pricing concerns, and operational issues to management; protect company assets and financial data by adhering to internal security controls; attend all staff meetings and tech clinics.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
0-2 years of customer service or retail experience.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment with attention to detail.
Self-starter with initiative and a team-oriented mindset.
