We are looking for customer-centric individuals who want to join our team this peak season. As a seasonal sales associate, you will help customers rent, purchase and repair instruments. You will play a key role in our Customer First value and make sure customers have a great experience in our stores. Essential Functions (not all-inclusive): Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer Work as a team in a retail environment Assist with sales and rentals to meet or exceed goals Assist customers with the rental process and provide correct products Restock products on fixtures and store displays Additional Duties as Assigned. Since the 1990's, Music & Arts has expanded nationwide through organic growth and a series of acquisitions and mergers with other music dealers. In 2005, Music & Arts joined forces with American Music to become the largest band and orchestra instrument retailer in the United States. Based in Frederick, MD, Music & Arts is now part of the Guitar Center enterprise and comprises 225+ retail stores, 200+ educational representatives, and 250+ affiliate locations.
Skills, Experience and Education:
Minimum Requirements:
A strong commitment to customer service The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations The ability to work as part of a team Good communication skills Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidaysPreferred:
Familiarity with the school music program and one or more instruments Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Occasionally required to sit, climb stairs or a ladder Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; occasionally required to complete tasks outdoors for short periods of time Love this gig and want to apply?
