Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, floral design, and horticulture products. Identify plants and gardening supplies to help customers make informed decisions. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations. Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an inviting store layout. Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and processing incoming shipments. Support e-commerce initiatives by helping customers with online orders or product inquiries via phone communication. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions about outdoor work experience, plant identification, floral arrangements, or landscape projects. Handle cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math and cash handling procedures. Engage in outdoor work activities such as lawn care and landscape maintenance when needed to support store operations. Demonstrate strong communication skills to connect with diverse customers, including multilingual support if applicable. Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in outdoor or garden centers. Knowledge of lawn care, gardening, horticulture, floral design, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable. Experience with POS systems and cash handling ensures smooth transaction processing. Strong organizational skills for merchandising and stocking tasks. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Outdoor work experience enhances understanding of lawn care and landscape projects. Passion for gardening, plant identification, and outdoor environments to better assist customer needs.
