Job Description

Company Overview BeeWeaver Honey Farm has been a cornerstone of Navasota, TX since 1888, specializing in local bees and honey. We take pride in offering chemical-free, naturally mite-resistant bees, alongside a variety of beekeeping tools, honey products, gifts, and engaging tours. Must have Saturday Availability. Summary As a Tour Guide at BeeWeaver Honey Farm, you will lead visitors through our farm, sharing your knowledge about the Weaver Family and Farm history, bee biology and keeping information, and honey production. As a Retail Associate, you will help customers experience the farm and everything it has to offer by way of retail sales and an extensive knowledge of beekeeping tools and equipment. We offer beekeeping materials as well as our honey and beeswax products, bee-themed gifts and goods, and memorable experiences. Naturally, we are more than happy to train all qualified candidates on the technical bee, history, and honey knowledge and skills. Responsibilities Conduct engaging tours of the bee farm, educating visitors on beekeeping practices and the importance of bees. Provide detailed information about our products and services to enhance visitor experience. Manage tour schedules efficiently to accommodate groups of varying sizes. Answer questions from guests with clarity and enthusiasm to foster a welcoming environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of the tour run smoothly. Promote BeeWeaver products during tours to drive sales and customer interest. Gather feedback from visitors to improve future tour experiences. Register use and basic understanding of sales. Stocking, inventory, retail display and design, product management. Basic housekeeping and property management. Sampling honey and other food items. Qualifications Proven experience in a customer-facing role or as a tour guide is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Passion for education and sharing knowledge about bees and honey production. Public speaking skills to effectively convey information during tours. Time management skills to handle multiple groups and schedules efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing guest interactions. Leadership qualities to guide teams during busy tour periods. Retail and Register experience. Beekeeping experience required. Food handling preferred.
