The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the store's inventory is well-stocked and organized. This role requires a strong understanding of retail operations, especially in the sale of beer and wine, along with proper certification to handle alcohol sales. The Liquor Store Clerk will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately during daily transactions Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding our selection of beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages Stock shelves and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained Manage retail sales by promoting products and upselling when appropriate Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Maintain compliance with TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) regulations and ensure proper handling of alcohol sales Keep track of inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management Follow safety procedures and store policies to ensure a secure environment for staff and customers Experience Prior 1 + year of experience in retail or liquor store environments is preferred.
