Part-Time, 36 hours per week We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Thrift Store Sales Associate to join our team at a mission-driven thrift store in Richardson, Texas. This is a hands-on retail position for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and being part of a small team. You'll help with everything from assisting customers and running the register to sorting donations, stocking the sales floor, keeping the store organized, and helping volunteers. What You'll Do Greet and assist customers and provide friendly, helpful service Operate the cash register and process cash, credit card, and return transactions Receive, sort, price, and organize donated items Stock and replenish merchandise throughout the store Keep racks, shelves, displays, and sales areas organized and inviting Help maintain a clean store, including regular tidying and sweeping Assist with merchandise displays, promotions, and sales events Welcome volunteers, help assign tasks, and provide guidance as needed Assist with inventory and alert management to merchandise needs Follow store procedures and safety guidelines Work as part of a small team to keep daily store operations running smoothly What We're Looking For Friendly and comfortable working with customers and volunteers Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills Able to multitask in a sometimes busy, sometimes quiet retail environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Attention to detail Comfortable standing for extended periods Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. Previous retail, thrift store, customer service, or cashier experience is required Reliable transportation to and from work is required Schedule & Benefits This is a part-time position averaging 36 hours per week .
