Ticket Sales & Fan Analytics Intern Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for sports and data? The Sherman Shadowcats are seeking a dynamic Ticket Sales & Fan Analytics Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the business operations of professional sports, contributing directly to our sales strategies and fan engagement efforts by leveraging valuable insights from our ticketing data. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth analysis of historical ticket sales data (2024-2026 seasons) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Accurately track and report actual attendance figures for each game, distinguishing between tickets sold and scanned entries. Perform comprehensive analysis of paid versus complimentary ticket distribution and its impact on revenue and attendance. Evaluate attendance metrics segmented by day of the week to inform scheduling and promotional strategies. Identify and assess the effectiveness of past promotional campaigns and special offers in driving ticket sales and fan engagement. Assist in the development and refinement of season ticket holder renewal lists based on engagement and purchase history. Support the identification and research of potential group sales prospects and leads. Compile and present key fan and attendance statistics for inclusion in the 2027 sponsorship sales deck. Assist in generating reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators related to ticket sales and fan behavior. Support the sales team by providing data-driven insights to optimize outreach and conversion strategies. Contribute to market research efforts to understand fan demographics and preferences. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Business Analytics, Marketing, Sports Management, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable conclusions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is essential; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting data insights clearly and concisely. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data handling and reporting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Passion for sports and a strong desire to learn about the business side of professional sports.
