Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories, providing expert guidance and building lasting relationships. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction while supporting inventory management and dealership operations. Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and repair procedures to support customer needs. Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts using inventory management systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, and electronic payments securely. Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and personalized service. Collaborate with the service department to facilitate automotive repair and maintenance needs, ensuring seamless client experiences. Maintain a clean, organized parts counter area and ensure all stock is properly labeled and stored according to safety standards. Experience Proven retail sales experience, preferably within an automotive dealership or parts environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, and repair processes. Familiarity with inventory management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and POS systems. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of automotive parts management, inventory control procedures, and dealership operations is preferred. Pay:
$25,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
