Part-Time Retail Store Associate Moore N More Popcorn - St. George, Utah Starting pay: $15.00 per hour Part-time daytime position Expected hours: approximately 12-20 per week, with around 15 hours being typical Moore N More Popcorn is a locally owned gourmet popcorn shop in St. George offering 150+ popcorn flavors, gifts, candy, drinks and other specialty products. We're looking for a dependable, friendly part-time team member who can become a trusted part of our small team and, once trained, confidently run our retail store during scheduled shifts. Customer service comes first. Between customers, you'll also help package popcorn, restock products, prepare packaging materials, clean and keep the store organized and ready for customers. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes responsibility for their work and is comfortable staying productive when the store is quiet.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Help customers and run the store: Welcome customers and help them find products and flavors Offer samples and product recommendations Operate our Shopify POS system Accurately handle cash and card transactions Handle normal customer questions and pickup orders Keep the sales floor stocked and organized Eventually operate the retail store independently during scheduled shifts Know when to handle a routine issue yourself and when to contact an owner Help with packaging and store upkeep: Fill, seal and label popcorn bags Prepare bags, labels, boxes and other packaging materials Restock finished products and displays Help prepare customer orders and gift products Keep checkout, sampling and sales areas clean and organized Complete routine cleaning and store-upkeep tasks As you become comfortable in the role, there may also be an opportunity to learn more of our popcorn-production process, including eventually helping cook and produce popcorn.

We are willing to train the right person.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time daytime position, generally around 15 hours per week. Weekly schedules may range from approximately 12-20 hours depending on business needs and availability.

Store hours:

Monday-Thursday:

11:00 AM-5:00

PM Friday:

11:00 AM-6:00

PM Saturday:

10:00 AM-4:00

PM Sunday:

Closed We are primarily looking for someone with weekday daytime availability who can also work at least two Saturdays per month. We prefer to create a relatively consistent schedule rather than changing shifts constantly from week to week. Our business is busiest during the holiday season, so additional hours may be available during November and December. There may also be occasional opportunities to help at local events. Event work is optional and is not required for this position. PAY Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active retail and packaging position.

Team members should be comfortable:

Standing and moving around for most of a shift Bending and reaching Stocking products and supplies Performing repetitive packaging tasks Regularly lifting and carrying normal retail inventory and packaging supplies Lifting approximately 25 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally with assistance when appropriate A Utah Food Handler Permit may be required depending on assigned duties.
