Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and helping customers find the products they need. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Must be able to lift, bend and stoop. Heavy lifting is required. Must be available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 11am to 6pm. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Stock and clean Unload items off pallets (heavy boxes at times) Skills Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer needs. Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling financial transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory counts. Experience in grocery store settings is a plus but not required. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales analysis.
