Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories, providing expert guidance, building lasting customer relationships, and ensuring efficient inventory management. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will drive sales growth while delivering outstanding service to our valued clients. Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories based on their vehicle needs. Provide detailed product information, including automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures. Manage inventory levels accurately using inventory control systems and ensure stock is properly stocked and organized. Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and credit card payments with professionalism. Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. Collaborate with the service team to support automotive repair projects and ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to safety standards and organizational procedures. Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with an understanding of automotive diagnostics. Proven experience in retail sales, inventory management, and POS operations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work with automotive repair teams using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and reporting. Familiarity with dealership environments or automotive repair shops is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order processing. $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour
