The prep position is for a shift starting at 8:30 am . Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces. Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure quick service during busy morning hours. Support cashiering duties including cash handling, upselling menu items, and providing excellent customer service. Restock supplies, organize ingredients, and manage inventory to keep the prep area well-stocked for the day's operations. Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in a fast-paced food service environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy mornings. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate measurement of ingredients. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell menu items confidently.
