Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing the cash drawer at shift end. Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise to enhance their shopping experience. Perform retail sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accuracy and speed. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that meet customer needs. Restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is well-merchandised to attract shoppers. Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries and coordinate with team members for smooth store operations. Support inventory management by stocking new products and conducting stock checks as needed. Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers and team members. Participate in product knowledge training sessions and product demos to stay informed about current offerings. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Supervising experience is a plus, especially if you've led teams or trained new staff members. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures smooth transaction processing. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
