Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Ice Cream Scooper/Manager and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences during our busiest times of the year! In this energetic role, you will engage with customers, scoop ice cream, manage other scoopers, keept track of inventory and manage every day operations. This is an excelent opportunity for a teacher. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their dining experience Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions Maintain cleanliness in the dipping cabinet and dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Support inventory management by receiving shipments, organizing stock, and conducting stock counts Communicate effectively with team members and customers using excellent phone etiquette. Qualifications Previous restaurant sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, stocking, and retail math concepts Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a lively ice cream shop.
