Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to enhance their shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support during their shopping experience. Assist customers in product selection and provide product demonstrations as needed. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and arranging displays. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
