Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. Responsible for generating revenue by consulting with residential and commercial clients to design and sell customized fencing and land clearing solutions. This role typically bridges the gap between initial customer interest and the customer signature on agreements. This is a commission only position based on whole contract sale.
Consultative Sales:
Meet with prospective clients on-site to assess their needs for privacy, security, or aesthetics and recommend appropriate materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum etc
Site Evaluation:
Accurately measure property lines and terrain, identify potential installation obstacles (e.g., slopes or underground utilities), and ensure compliance with local zoning laws or HOA regulations.
Estimating and Quoting:
Calculate material costs, labor, and profit margins to generate professional proposals.
Sales Acumen:
Proven ability to negotiate, overcome objections, and meet monthly or quarterly sales targets This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a commission only with some gas reimbursements Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, providing product demos when applicable Generate Leads for the company Handle leads given to you from the director Quotes must go out within 24 hours of site visit with the client Upsell products to meet customer needs and increase sales revenue Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries Support supervising staff during busy periods or as needed, contributing to team goals Must send estimates within 24 hours of meeting with the client Estimates to be sent through company's system only Experience Previous sales experience is preferred Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is advantageous Strong communication skills Prior supervising experience is a plus but not required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette (3) non family references with phone numbers are required when applying
