The Damon Company manufactures products for a variety of customers and in-house brands, including Shrewd Archery. The Damon Company operates an outdoor oriented retail store/bar specializing in high end archery equipment called Shrewd Outdoors. About Shrewd Outdoors Shrewd Outdoors is a 12,000 square foot retail store/bar/cafe in downtown Salem, VA. Shrewd Outdoors specializes in high end competition and archery equipment. Shrewd Outdoors includes a handicap accessible 6,000 square foot indoor archery range available for tournaments, lessons and league nights. Position Overview Provide an outstanding customer experience. Assist customers with questions about products and archery equipment. Assists with archery lessons and the archery academy. Assists with archery league nights and tournaments. Operate the POS system and collect various payment methods. Maintain and model high retail merchandising and cleanliness standards set forth by the store. Maintain and update store displays and merchandising areas. Assist with bar and cafe related responsibilities depending on age. Additional duties as assigned. Preferred Skills/Experience 1-3 years of archery retail experience or archery experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with retail POS systems. Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends. Possess the desire to offer the highest customer service standards to guests. Ability to lift 40+ pounds Job Type Part time Pay $17
