Strange's has position openings for a seasonal fall/Christmas 2026 Nursery Team Members at the Short Pump Garden Center. The Nursery team member is responsible for maintaining nursery department operations, maintenance, and organization as well as completing related tasks given by management. The essential candidate is comfortable working in an outdoor environment, has foundational knowledge on trees, shrubs, and perennials, and exhibits exceptional customer service skills.

Starting Hourly Pay Rate:

$14.00

Scheduling :

Candidates must be able to work day shifts between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM 3 days a week (includes 1 weekend day consistently throughout the season). Job Responsibilities Assists customers and presents them with nursery department product information Communicates frequently with management regarding possible nursery product issues such as disease or pest problems Labels and prices plant material Moves containerized shrubs, plants and trees using appropriate nursery equipment Maintains plant material and distributes product/goods Maintains cleanliness of nursery area and maintains grounds/landscaping Assists the Nursery Manager with watering, fertilizing, spacing, pruning and maintaining inventory of nursery crops Interested in this position?
