Job Summary Join our close knit team as an opening Budtender, where your passion for cannabis and exceptional customer service will create a welcoming and informative environment for our guests. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and ensure a smooth retail experience. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will help foster trust and loyalty, making every visit memorable. Minimum schedule required for hire is Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday- 7:30am-11:30am Friday & Saturday 7:30am-3:30-4pm. Same schedule every week with plenty of opportunity for more hours if desired. Hourly Pay paid weekly via direct deposit and tips distributed at end of every shift. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience ID Checking Be a team player Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos Assist with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and retail math calculations Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting inventory checks Operate cash registers efficiently, handle cash drawer balancing, and process retail sales transactions accurately Maintain a clean, organized store environment while adhering to safety and compliance standards Requirements Previous retail, restaurant or customer facing positions must be 21 years of age or older Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on your feet for 10 hours must be able to accommodate schedule reliable transportation including winter commuting Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales & cash handling Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer interaction abilities Experience with POS systems, cashiering Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, including cannabis products or comparable items is preferred Ability to obtain or already possess a Vermont Cannabis Control Board Employee badge within a timely manner Willingness to conduct product demos and upsell products confidently while maintaining professionalism Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to providing exceptional service while advancing your career in a fast-growing industry.
