Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Educate customers on product features, effects, and usage methods through engaging product demos Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining an organized store environment Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and professionalism Upsell complementary products to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales goals Manage cash handling duties including cash drawer balancing and retail math calculations Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all cannabis products, including strain details, potency levels, and legal regulations Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with product replenishment Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or scheduling appointments Facilitate product demos for customers interested in learning more about specific items or consumption methods Experience Prior retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialty retail environments such as cannabis or health & wellness stores Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases are highly valued Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally over the phone and in person Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory management practices Experience with grocery store operations or similar environments that require attention to detail in stocking and sales transactions Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and balancing cash drawers confidently Join us as a Cannabis Guide to be part of an innovative industry that's growing rapidly!
