•This position is Temporary and Part Time• About us! Andersen Dairy, Inc has been a part of the Battle Ground community for over 55 years. We began producing milk in 1966, at the same location in Battle Ground, as it does today. We play a positive role in the community, giving back through local events, food and toy drives, jobs to the local community. Our milk plant and trucking fleet work together to full-fill over 30 grocery stores with milk, water, heavy cream and juice needs. Our employee management team works closely together to ensure quality products, positive work environment, vibrant safety culture and continuous growth. The shift will always be Saturday from 7:45am to 6:15pm . (Our store is open from 8am to 6pm, we are allowing for start up and closing procedures.) The days and hours are non-negotiable. This is a long day, however there is a lot of down time. Which makes this a great job for a college student that needs to work on homework. We need someone that is flexible with days that is willing to cover other days of the week for time off needs for our other store clerks. There is a possibility of this moving into a Friday and Saturday position down the road.

Wage:

$17.25 per hour, this is a mostly entry level position and raises are based on minimum wage laws/increases. Store Duties and Physical Requirements include but may not be limited to: Running cash register/money handling, basic math in head and with calculator, counting cash back Greet customers Assist customers loading out product, shopping cart or manual pallet jack Price, stock and rotate/merchandise product inside and outside of the refrigerator Cleaning, sweep, mop and sanitize with the ability to squat, walk, bend, stoop and extend arms. Answer phones as needed Lift up to 50lbs

Food Safety:

obtain a food handlers card , repackage muffins Must have flexibility to cover additional days for time off requests, prearranged What we offer (for part time employees) IRA or other savings options with company matching of up to 3% of wages after 60 days. Vacation that can be used (never cashed out) after 1 year of employment: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 10 years and 4 weeks after 20 years. WA State sick pay that can be used after 90 days of employment: 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. Select Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years day and your birthday. 2 Free Gallons of milk or juice every week.
