Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate and become the friendly face that enhances every customer's shopping experience! In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling sales transactions. Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will help customers find what they need and leave with a smile. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Manage cash register operations including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and basic math calculations for transactions. Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability. Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication. Support store operations through effective cashiering, inventory management, and assisting with retail math calculations for stock levels and sales reports. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations ensures smooth transaction processing. Excellent communication skills are necessary for engaging with customers confidently and professionally. Knowledge of grocery store procedures or retail store product knowledge enhances your ability to assist customers efficiently Physical Requirements frequently lifting cases of product that can weigh up to 30lbs standing for long periods of time the ability to move quickly during busy times Hours Day Shift 8:00am-4:00pm Night Shift 3:00pm-11:00pm Please note that we are a convenience store and are open for ALL holidays Currently only hiring for the night shift Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while building your career in retail!
