As a Retail Sales Associate at THE UPS STORE, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting various operations within our store. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Listen to their needs, provide information on our services, and offer solutions to meet their requirements.

Sales and Service:

Identify opportunities to provide additional services or products to enhance the customer experience. Guide customers through our range of offerings and assist them in finding the best solutions for their needs.

Notary Services:

Undergo training to become a Notary Public, enabling you to witness and authenticate signatures on legal documents.

Operational Support:

Learn to operate various equipment including copiers, printers, fax machines, binding, and laminating machines. Assist customers with document services such as scanning, faxing, binding, and laminating.

Shipping and Packaging:

Receive training on packaging techniques and guidelines to securely pack and ship customers' items using carriers like UPS, USPS and

UPS FREIGHT.

Mailbox Services:

Assist with managing mailbox rentals, handling incoming mail, and notifying customers of mail and package arrivals.

Maintaining Store Appearance:

Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This includes regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring displays are neat and well-presented.

Inventory Management:

Assist with inventory management tasks including restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and performing periodic inventory counts.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies. Ability to lift up to 35lbs independently. Comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including being on your feet for up to 7-8 hours a day. Successful completion of a background check.
