Beneficial Experience:
Golf Genius Teaching of Beginning Golfers (all levels of Golfers a plus) Merchandise knowledge of ordering, special order management, inventory processing and displaying product Essential Responsibilities Performs Open and Closing Procedures for Golf Shop Operations Makes reservations and assists customer on the phone. Assist Members and Guests with all needs. Including but not limited to, Bags, Carts, Push Carts, and setting up competitions for groups. Assist Head Golf Professional in Tournament Operations. This includes weekly Men's, Women's, and weekend events. As well as major club events (Member Invitationals, Member Member, and Club Championship, and other Two-Day Events). This included planning, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, prize distribution, and follow up. All t ournaments will use Live Tourney to facilitate tournaments. Assist Head Golf Professional in Growing Merchandise Business. This includes Merchandising, Ordering, Selling, and Fitting Golf Clubs. Assist in the inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders including ordering procedures, receiving procedures, inputting into point of sale, pricing procedures, display and sales. Passionate about Teaching and Instruction and Junior Golf Events (PGA Jr League/Junior Camps). Conduct Individual and Group lessons. Oversee and Manage Outside Service Staff. Work hand in hand with Head Golf Professional about supervising and mentoring Outside Staff to provide exceptional service to members and guests. Assist in managing golf car operation, practice facility and club storage service. Play Golf and Interact with members (includes Pro-Am participation). Benefits Compensation & Benefits Position plan based on experience and qualifications with a competitive hourly rate for golf operations/admin work and another for teaching/coaching/clinics 80% of lesson Income with reasonable time for running adult, juniors and similar clinic programming Clothing Allowance PGA Dues (national and chapter) 50% off Meals Golf Privileges Anticipated Income of $60,000 to $70,000 based on candidate, qualifications and ability to engage the membership.
