Job Description
The Retail Associate plays a key role in providing an exceptional retail and box office experience for casino guests. This position is responsible for maintaining a neat and organized retail environment, managing inventory, restocking products, and utilizing a POS system to accurately process transactions. The Retail Associate assists customers by providing product information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues, escalating concerns when necessary. Additionally, this role provides accurate information about property details, casino promotions, and events. With strong communication skills, the ability to handle cash transactions, and attention to detail, the Retail Associate ensures a seamless guest experience while maintaining accurate inventory records and cash reconciliations.

Starting wage is $17.31/hr, increasing to $17.91/hr upon successful completion of a 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Promotes superior guest service. Maintains retail inventory. Provides a neat and orderly retail environment. Provides customers with product information as needed. Restocks inventory as needed. Utilizes a POS system to accurately charge guests for all retail merchandise. Responds to guest questions. Resolves guest issues and concerns forwarding escalated situations as needed. Provides accurate information regarding property, departments, casino promotions, and events.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. One year cash handling experience is required. Customer Service experience required. Additional related experience of education may substitute for the minimum requirements.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time; use of hand, eye, and finger dexterity; verbal and written communication; lifting, bending, carrying, stooping, walking, pushing or moving supplies and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays All applicants must obtain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
