Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product information and recommendations. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling. Upsell products and promote specials or new items through engaging product demos and friendly communication. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, safe, and visually appealing through effective merchandising. Manage the cash drawer with precision, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and handle cash handling procedures responsibly. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stocking procedures, and conducting regular product checks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions promptly and courteously to foster a welcoming environment. Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing the cash drawer at shift end. Knowledge of POS systems or willingness to learn POS operations quickly. Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail. Supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for supporting team tasks and store operations. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if required.
