Responsibilities Assist customers by providing detailed product demonstrations and answering questions about firearms, accessories, and related merchandise Operate POS systems and cash registers accurately during retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Ensure all firearm sales comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including verifying proper identification and background checks Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and conducting inventory counts to support merchandising efforts Upsell complementary products such as holsters, cleaning kits, or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance Conduct product demos to educate customers on firearm features, safety procedures, and proper handling techniques Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in-person interactions while fostering a welcoming environment Requirements Prior retail sales experience with proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and retail math for accurate transactions Familiarity with firearm safety regulations, licensing procedures, and legal requirements for firearm sales is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed Excellent customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally Basic math skills for balancing cash drawers and performing retail math calculations confidently Join us in delivering an outstanding shopping experience where safety meets service excellence!
