Responsibilities Provide personalized product recommendations and conduct product demos to educate customers about various cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, preferences, and experience levels, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management. Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to maximize sales potential. Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue. Handle retail store operations such as cashiering, processing transactions efficiently, and adhering to all cash register procedures. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times. Support inventory management by conducting stock counts and assisting with product demos to educate customers on new items. Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and retail store policies. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly preferred; supervising experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette are necessary for engaging with customers confidently. Knowledge of cannabis products, merchandising techniques, and retail store product knowledge is beneficial. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations. Experience in product demos or upselling strategies to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
