Part-Time Sales Associate Millstream | Port Townsend, WA Millstream is looking for a warm, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team in Port Townsend. We're a hands-on shop where every day is a little different—from selling original works of art and handcrafted items , to preparing and shipping goods , beautifully gift wrapping purchases , and helping customers find just the right piece. We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of all aspects of a small retail business and takes pride in making every interaction and every package feel special. What You'll Do Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service Help customers find products and answer questions with confidence and care Learn about our merchandise, artists, and makers and share that knowledge with customers Process purchases accurately and efficiently Gift wrap purchases with care and attention to presentation Pack and prepare customer orders for shipping Keep displays, shelves, and the sales floor organized, clean, and inviting Receive, unpack, price, and restock merchandise Pay close attention to the small details that make the store look and feel great Pitch in wherever needed as part of a small, collaborative team Who We're Looking For You might be a great fit if you are: Personable and approachable — you enjoy talking with customers and making people feel welcome Detail-oriented — you notice when something is out of place and take the initiative to fix it Reliable and responsible — your teammates can count on you Positive and proactive — you're comfortable finding the next thing that needs to be done Comfortable working on your feet — this is an active retail position that involves standing and moving throughout the workday Able to lift and move merchandise as needed Comfortable working independently as well as with a team Retail or customer service experience is helpful, but a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are most important. Schedule This is a part-time position at our Port Townsend location. Availability for some weekends and holidays may be required.
