Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and offering tailored product recommendations. Conduct product demos to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and assisting with inventory counts to ensure product availability. Upsell products by highlighting new items or promotions to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain proper cash register operations, handle cash drawer balancing, and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely. Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that highlight featured products and promotions. Supervise or support team members as needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on customer satisfaction. Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus. Previous retail sales experience with proficiency in POS systems and retail math calculations. Knowledge of cannabis products and retail store merchandising practices. Experience in supervising or leading team members is preferred but not required. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and inventory management. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally. Capable of conducting product demos confidently to educate customers about various offerings.
