Job Description

About the Role We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Thrift Store Associate to join our team in a combined Cashiering and Textile Processing role! ​In this position, cashiering is much more than operating a register—our cashiers actively push inventory onto the sales floor, maintain organized displays, keep the sales floor clean and welcoming, and ensure our shoppers have a great experience from start to finish. Behind the scenes, you'll also help process incoming textile donations to keep fresh items moving out to the store. ​ Key Responsibilities ​
Cashiering & Floor Operations :
Efficiently process customer sales at the register while actively pushing stock out to the sales floor, organizing racks/shelves, facing products, and keeping the store clean and tidy. ​
Textile Processing :
Sort, inspect, hang, tag, and price incoming clothing and textile donations according to store standards and pricing guidelines. ​
Merchandising & Store Upkeep :
Maintain clear, organized aisles, ensure items are displayed properly, and assist with daily store recovery. ​
Customer Service :
Greet shoppers, assist with inquiries, and provide a welcoming atmosphere. ​ Shift Times & Schedules Work schedules are set based on store operational needs. Candidates must be available for set shifts within these time frames: ​
Textile Processing Shifts :
8:00 AM•4:30 PM ​
Opening Cashier Shifts :
8:30 AM•5:00 PM ​
Closing Cashier Shifts :
11:00 AM•7:15 PM ​
Qualifications :
​Prior experience in retail, cash handling, or thrift processing is a plus (we are happy to train!). ​ Strong work ethic—enjoy staying active on the floor, organizing, and stocking merchandise. ​ Attention to detail to spot garment quality/brands and maintain neat displays. ​ Physical ability to stand, walk, push stock carts, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout a shift. ​Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

From $17.13 per hour
