We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, booking grooming appointments and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. We are opening our second location in Redmond. Should be open to do a split shift between the 2 stores. Must be 18+ years old. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience. Engage in upselling techniques to increase sales and promote store promotions. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when answering calls. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Helping with closing the store(sweeping and moping). Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse customers is essential. Strong communication skills are required to effectively engage with customers and team members. Experience in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and retail math is beneficial for success in this role.
