Our front door staff are the first people students meet when they arrive, and they set the tone for the night. About the role We're looking for a responsible, trustworthy person with great customer service skills to check students in and run our point-of-sale system during classes and events. Responsibilities Greet students and check them in for classes and events Process payments, class passes, and memberships through our point-of-sale system Answer questions about classes, levels, pricing, and schedules Resolve check-in, account, and payment issues Keep student records accurate and up to date Stay current on our class offerings, promotions, and policies Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field (required) High school diploma or equivalent (required) Friendly, professional, and able to build rapport with students Reliable and punctual, and trustworthy with payments and customer information Able to multitask and stay calm during busy check-in rushes Clear written and verbal communication Comfortable learning point-of-sale and check-in software Schedule Part-time, about 28 hours per week: Sundays, 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm Mondays, 5:00 pm to 12:00 am Tuesdays, 4:45 pm to 10:00 pm Wednesdays, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm Thursdays, 6:00 pm to 12:00 am Pay and benefits $25 per hour Free dance classes Use of studio space for personal practice Work location In person at our studio in
